Family ID Registration (Payment of $220 School “Pay to Play” Fee)
All required fields on this FamilyID registration need to be completed before you select save and continue. Besides completing this registration form,
South Volunteer Inquiry Release Form (iChat)
Parent(s) / guardian(s) also need to complete the volunteer inquiry release form with iChat to volunteer with the school
Emergency Gold Card
Every Athlete must have a signed and stamped Emergency Gold Card on File
MHSAA Health Questionaire (sport physical on file from 2019-20 (completed on or after 4/15/19)
If you have a sport physical on file from 2019-20 (completed on or after April 15, 2019), you need to complete the MHSAA Health Questionaire and the Gold Card
Medical History Form (No sports physical on file wih GP South)
If you do not have a sport physical from 2019-20 on file at South High, you must complete a MHSAA Medical History Form and the Gold Card
MHSAA (Michigan High School Athletic Association)
Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) is a service organization for high school sports in Michigan. Similar to NCAA for College Sports, MHSAA is the governing source High School/Middle School sports which exists to develop common rules for athletic eligibility and competition. On the MHSAA site you can find the current season rules (updates and revisions), List of schools in each division (D1 - D3), State Championship Meet information including the link to watch the State Championship Meet (Finals session) Live ($).
NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association)
The National collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) regulates Collegiate level athletics in a three division system (similar to MHSAA). The organization regulates student athletes from 1,268 North American institutions and conferences. It also organizes the athletic programs of many colleges and universities in the United States and Canada, and helps more than 480,000 college student-athletes who compete annually in college sports. On the NCAA site you will find governing rules & regulations for athletes (compliance, enforcement, & governance), Academic & Test requirements, and a guide for athletes looking to compete at a collegiate level. Collegeswimming.com is a Free website that allows Coaches to discover Swimmers/Divers, and for Swimmers/Divers to connect with Coaches and communicate.
